Thanks Bill. Well, I have not been staying up much past 1200Z since
my return from vacation. I have been getting to the office very early to
play catch up on things. Within a week or two I will fall back in to a
more normal routine. I'll make an effort on the weekends to try and stay
up for the west coast and middle USA openings. Once my shipment gets here
with all the antenna wire and stuff I need to start playing around a bit
with better antenna's, or at least recieve only antenna's if this noise
level stay's the way it has been the last few night's. I plan to put up an
off center feed dipole for the rest of the bands so I can use coax for the
feeder and try to move it to another tree away from the vertical and it's
counterpoise. Once I do that I can bury the coax to the shack on the all
band antenna and be free to try other antenna's using the exisiting
counterpoise. I would also have a better idea where to put a receive only
antenna. Anyway, that's the idea for this week!
