Now, several of you asked me about the Glowbugs list - We created it
as a sort of marriage between the QRP and Boatanchors lists. It is
devoted to homebrewing with tubes. Many of the guys on there are
building period rigs from early QSTs and the Handbook - self-oscillating
Hartley xmtrs, and regen rcvrs, and having a ball on 80 and 40m. Lots
of expertice on the list regarding history, and early techniques.
The ARRL give us permission to post circuits from early issues of QST
and the Handbook (from the 20s on); many circuits are in the list's
archives.
To sub, send an email to listproc@theporch.com and only write
subscribe glowbugs your-name-here
and you'll be hooked up (the autosubscriber will want a name in that
