Been reading about trees on this reflector. While in Thailand (as HS1L) from
63 to 65 our research lab did some tests on using trees as antennas. They
did work - but not great! I expect that Stanford Research Institute in
Menlo Park CA has reports on those efforts if one wanted to pursue it.
