Amen Bill,I am sure tired of reading all the BS about IG9 operation and
local yackers.
Re the IG9 operation, havinghad teh pleasure of operating the 160 meter
position for the VP5VW 1994 CQ WW CW operation I can attest to the
UNREAL
signal levels heard on top-band from a good site overlooking the ocean.
Europeans 59 plus 10-20DB an hour and a half before sunset, being called
by HZ1AB,etc.Even with my poor operating ability I worked 73 countries!
The IG9 boys have done their homework, picked a superb location and
done
a world class job. I'll admit I'am jealous! It must of been a great
feeling working 100 countries in one weekend! My hats off to them.
With my apologies for cluttering up the reflector any more than it has
been as of late. Is there a software filter I can get to "notch-out"
this
annoying junk on the reflector? HI! 73 and good DX , Dan K8RF ex: WT8N
