Oops, I need to clarify what I meant to say! I wrote:
"Excuse me guys, but this is a bad idea. The only way to influence the FCC
or IARU is through the ARRL, and they have never demonstrated any interest
in sub-bands on 160 as Dennis indicated. If either Jeff or Dennis still
want to step forward and pursue this, let it be know and all interested
parties can communicate with them DIRECTLY. Let's not abuse this reflector
as an exercise in political frustration."
What I meant to say, is let's see 100 public messages giving everyone's
opinion on this. If Jeff or Dennis would like to take everyone's input
DIRECTLY, draft a proposal which can then be posted on the reflector,
soliciting comments or signatures DIRECTLY, then that's fine. The topic
is OK but needs organization to prevent cluttering the reflector.
