This morning after having worked a few West-Coast stns and tf3tf my Alpha
89 went dead.
One problem I have identified is a bruned up resistor , it seems to read
Erie , 20 Ohm and 50-60 W, in metal housing with cooling fins. It is
mounted on the inside of the back panel and seems to have something to do
with the soft start circuit.
Unfortunately the Alpha 89 manual does not have a parts list.
Is anyone on this reflector is a position to help identify this
component,and secondly can anyone source one for me ?
