Josh's idea of feeding 12V into the rear 12 Accessory socket works well
but there is no overcurrent protection or meter reading.
I did this years ago when running the C21 mobile. I turned the drive to
where I thought it should be and didn't realize until later when I
checked output with a Bird wattmeter that I was putting out
70 watts! (Double the specification!) Of course I turned the drive
back, but I was amazed that the amplifier section was fine and no
problems. A tough little rig!

Hi John,
I have a C21 digital. You might find something useful here:

You can run it safely on external 12V! I've run mine that way quite a bit.
Good luck - let me know how it goes.

Hi Bob,
The Century 21 has a built in supply circuit. I am not sure if I could
connect 12VDC to the unit without a bit of modification. It has a over
current circuit protection.
