Hi Chris,
This is definitely the place for Ten Tec techie stuff. I've been bailed out by
the smart guys on here more than once.
My comments were regarding all the non-techie opinion type stuff which can get
old.

Is there a better place to ask the technical questions?
I'm happy to go elsewhere if that's what I should do.
I have a TS-820 that I literally brought back from the dead with
the help of the TS-520/820/530/830 group on yahoo. I'm happy
to admit that I'm on the pull-it-out-of-the-dumpster end
of ham radio. I won't be calling TenTec support or buying
their new radios. Not that I don't want to, but I don't have
the resources to commit to that.
So, if there is a more appropriate place, just point me in the right direction.
