I am trying to reload the Orion 565 firmware - had repeated problems
with the radio this past weekend, after years of stability.
BUT, have changed computers over those years, so don't have the
info at my fingertips. The new TenTec site is missing the file
How to Update firmware - the link has an empty file. I tried
running the exe file 565-setup-3.032x5.exe, which loaded an installer.
When I run the program (choosing COM6 which is what the logging
program uses so that is the correct port), it brings up a flash-32 flash
update utility (I am running Win7 64bit pro) it says "please be patient"
and never does anything else. When I choose a version 2 firmware in
that program, it counts line 0 of xxxx, but never progresses or does
anything else.
HELP!
