uh, before we go too far down the road, am I missing something?
I don't see a bandwidth control available in OmniRig ....
Here is the list:
pmFreq operating frequency
pmFreqA VFO A frequency
pmFreqB VFO B frequency
pmPitch CW pitch frequency
pmRitOffset RIT offset frequency
pmRit0 Clear RIT - this is a write-only parameter
pmVfoAA receive and transmit on VFO A
pmVfoAB receive on VFO A, transmit on VFO B
pmVfoBA receive on VFO B, transmit on VFO A
pmVfoBB receive and transmit on VFO B
pmVfoA receive on VFO A, transmit VFO unknown
pmVfoB receive on VFO B, transmit VFO unknown
pmVfoEqual copy the frequency of the receive VFO to the transmit
VFO
pmVfoSwap swap frequencies of the receive and transmit VFO's
pmSplitOn enable split operation
pmSplitOff disable split operation
pmRitOn enable RIT
pmRitOff disable RIT
pmXitOn enable XIT
pmXitOff disable XIT
pmRx enable receive mode
pmTx enable transmit mode
pmCW_U CW mode, upper sideband
pmCW_L CW mode, lower sideband
pmSSB_U USB mode
pmSSB_L LSB mode
pmDIG_U Digital mode (RTTY, FSK, etc.), upper sideband
pmDIG_L Digital mode, lower sideband
pmAM AM mode
pmFM FM mode
Am I misinterpreting one?
Rick, which one did you use to change the BW in OmniRig INI file?
There is an RIT Offset in the Orion .ini, but, no BW or PBT????
Maybe I'm done? (once I settle the mode change issue)
ok, confused here.
When I use the Orion ini file, with an Orion, I don't see it change modes
or bandwidth. It changes modes when I tell it to in BandMaster. Seems to be
working right. Modes work, split works, VFOA and VFOB are changed correctly
with bandmaster, and bandmaster follows the rig. So I don't see any
problems with the Orion file with my Orion here.
Please re-iterate the problem so I can test again.
When I run the Eagle with the Eagle.ini file, it changes modes when I ask
it to, split works, VFOA and VFOB are chagned correctly with bandmaster,
and bandmaster follows the rig.
So, I think I might be done, no?
When just running Win-Test, it does do some things different, e.g. it does
force the mode to USB on several band changes, not sure why.
On the Eagle, it never sends a bandwidth command, so bandwidth on the Eagle
is always changeable on the Eagle front panel. Never changes via CAT. I
don't see a command for it.
Thanks, and 73,
