Yes indeed, WD 40 is "water displacement compound formula 40" It is NOT a lubricant! Most misused chemical besides alcohol and tobacco!It soon turns to gunk. DeOxit is for electronic contact cleaning and lubrication of contacts. Radio Shack even carried it last I needed some. A little bit lasts a long time, too.
