Andy - You ever bought a used car? If so, it was obsolete and at some time
I bet you had to spend money to repair it.
The Orion II is still one of the best performing radios on the market today.
Tentec does and is supporting it with new firmware and repair parts are
available along with Factory Service. Is there any other ham radio company
that does this for their discontinued products? Not that I'm aware.
By the way, if you choose not to keep an obsolete product, and I really
don't think you should, I'll give you my shipping address and I'll even pay
shipping charges.
