Sorry hit the wrong key ....... Scolded me for not being Rock Bound..... it
was easy to see that I was running a VFO. He took me under his wing and
helped out. Several days later I received a package in the mail that my
parents could not figure out. He had sent me 10 Crystals for my Hot Water
16 Radio. And a note telling me to be careful about using the VFO, as a
Novice. At one time there was a Healthy Fear that the FCC would Punish Rule
Breakers. Has anyone listened to 7.200 Khz. lately? If, I were going to
talk on 7.200 it would be just as well to get my Dads old Browing Eagle
Radio out and start hollering Breaker 19 !!!!!!! We have an Extra in our
club that didn't know until recently ... that Repeaters have Positive and
Negative Offsets.
