Use an external powered speaker, the kind typically used with pc's, and
drive the speaker with either the line out or the headphone out using a
splitter on the headphone jack. If you're running ssb, make sure you have
the monitor off or you'll get feedback - but it's not fun for an op to work
ssb with headphones on and no monitor.
