Sure does...I've even operated them, the no-digital-display versions.
 
Nice hot RX...but yes, it would cave in a M/M situation.

"599" ring any bells.

Back in the 80's, Kenwood produced Receiver/Transmitter Twins called the
R599 & T599.

As best I recollect, there hasn't been another "599" rig since.

Maybe this is an omen.
Maybe this really is a TS-590 KILLER !
