function.
So it would need to be plugged into the RCA key jack, just like the K1EL
keyer, my N4YG Smart Keyboard or any other external keying device, such as a
keyer, bug or straight key.

do you know that the device is keying? have you checked the unit with a
meter to see if it is actually closing the circuit when your computer is
running a cw program? is your internal keyer on the Omni VI turned off?
