Thanks to all who commented, on and off the board with suggestions for a 
solution to my parallel port dilemma.

For the moment, I shall forgo the convenience of a logging operated 
keyer and continue to use my outboard memory keyer.

Alternatively I may dust off my 705 mike and get someone to show me how 
to speak on the radio. I have heard that we can do that too.

Again my thanks, I now fade away.
