One time when I had a noise problem I used a pair of ferrite cores, one on
each leg of the DC power into the rig. These are the ones you can buy at
RatShack to clip around AC power cords. I wrapped as many turns of each lead
that would fit. These cores come in two pieces so this is easy to do. The
noise reduction was very good.

Subject: [TenTec] ARGO V Mobile Power Source
Folks,
Anyone know of a commercial product that I can use to power my ARGO V
in my 2006 Explorer?
Previously ran Scouts and Argo in a 2000 Explorer with some noise but
workable. I can not lick the noise problem in the 2006 Explorer and need
to
be independent of the car's battery.
Need to put out some counties. Help!
Thanks,
Jim, K4CFA
