If you are referring to the ORION it shows you which VFO you have selected to transmit on, ie VFO "A" or VFO "B" VFO "A" Transmit and receive shows "TR" VFO "A" Transmit only shows "T" VFO "B" Receive only shows "R" etc, etc.............
