Most kids that I get interested in the hobby never start because of the
first response from parents, regarding an HF antenna.
"not in my back yard..."
However, useing a PC to a remote station might get some more HAM's on the
air.
Another item, what are we going to do when we get stuck in an old folks
home by our kids? ehh?
We need to look at the reasons we are allowed this hobby in the first place.
Best wishes,
Richard
