I'm messing around writing a Linux control program (in Python) for my Pegasus. It's been a while since I worked on my Windows/Delphi version. Anyways, it seems that whenever I send the Pegasus the command to enable keep alive (#9 <cr>), I get a Z <cr> response (invalid request). I don't get the Z for disable keep alive (#8 <cr>) or any other # digit <cr> command. I've verified this, both from within my Python program (which seems to be mostly working) and from a simple serial port terminal program (GtkTerm). I am running version 1.201 (last) of the Pegasus firmware. I haven't yet determined whether the radio expects keep alives after sending the #9 command. 73, Mark |
