Shawn, I was speaking in general about all coaxes. However, it should be noted if one uses the disc ceramic 0.01 mf across the shield to ground that greatly increases the bypassing effect of the coax capacitance alone. An interesting conjecture is once you bypass to the shield does the use of the capacitor introduce RF to both the inside and outside of the shield?
