Crit, I think that may be part of it. I use my Argo V mobile in my Jeep and
in my motorhome when traveling. I also have a K-2, Omni VI Plus and Omni C. I
didn't want to use my K-2 mobile, so I got the Argo V. It suits my purposes
well, although it is not as easy to listen to as the other Ten Tec radios I
have and it is not any where near what the K-2 is. I like it because it is
very simple to operate with all controls on the front and no menues. It is
also
a rugged radio. I know this probably doesn't help you, but I think you will
be happy with it if you accept it for what it is (and what it is not)...73, Ci
