FWIW, there are at least three different versions of the Maytag Neptune
series. The original one from 2 years ago is still available (for a lot
less than it was) in addition to two "latest & greatest" models.
I'm sure of this. I was just transferred back to my original Home Depot to
take over an old colleague's spot as an Appliance Specialist, and we have
all three of the aforementioned models on display. No, they're not plugged
in, and no, I'm not going to try to sneak a SW receiver in to check them.
Regardless, it would be good to know WHICH of the Neptune's have the RFI
problem -- is it related to one particular model, or is it across the board
on many of them?
But having said that... I'm scheduled for a Maytag training class next week.
I'll try and pull the local reps aside and have a chat with them. Don't
hold your breath on getting a good answer out of them, though...
