Hi Dave,
Congradulations, that is one of the best Radios of the 80s, If everything
is working properly, it will outperform many of the current $800 radios
today, especially with the optional filters ( which are still available
and often you see them here on the reflector for 60 or 70 bucks. )
If it does transmit on the other bands, then there is no upgrade path, (
the upgrade kits are not available anymore ).
Best thing is to enjoy the radio, then when you are ready upgrade.
