Simple to check out -- turn off the computer and pull the plug to all the
computer gear and see what happens.
Besides, Jim, you're in Texas - it's NEVER quiet on 80m in Texas. You
need beverages or other low-noise RX antennas to reduce the noise as much
as possible.
