Nicely done Steve. I received my SSB (2,400 Hz) version yesterday and
installed it in the Omni V last night. A couple of small glitches but
altogether a relatively straight forward installation. Unfortunately I had
to hard wire mine in with RG-174 since the Omni V uses different on-board
connectors than the Omni VI and the switched 13.8 volts was picked up in a
different location. (George is working with me on the connector issue and
is sending a couple for me to install on the RF and 9 MHz boards. I've also
sent George some changes to the instructions that may help others with the
Omni V installation.)
Like you I hear the relay and notice that the NAR filter is switched in but
I have no way of measuring IMD. Now all I need is a crowded band and we'll
give it a full road test.

Rick
