Just another data point, I never keep my power supply on, I've had 3
OMNI VI's and never seen this problem.
The advice from Tommy is good, check ALL connectors on all boards to
make sure you're getting continuity where you need it. I'd also check
the memory battery just to be sure it is not low (cheap and easy to
replace anyway!) Then give Ten Tec a call, they may be able to tell
you a simple fix, they're helpful.

That way
the memory battery is maintained charged. Don't remember turning off

P.S. in over 3 years, and never had your problem.

Denton, when you shut the radio off are you leaving the external P/S
on?
Think I use to do that way my OMNI 6 a few years back but never ran
across a problem like yours, good luck and maybe try a Master Reset, 73

Since I haven't gotten any other replies on this item, I am relisting
it..
I notice that my used (new to me) Omni VI Plus upgraded to option 3
does
not
want to do anything when I turn it on in the mornings, if left in 80
meters
at night, unless I push the 40 meter button....
It has a fresh battery.
Is this typical of this rig?? otherwise no other problems have
surfaced..yet.
