Eric, the Drawing 2-4 on page ten is incorrect. The proper drawing for
proper cable wiring is 2-5 on page 10. Info was sent out about this some
time ago. The shield wire must be connected to the shell of the mike connector and the other end to the shell of the mike itself. ( On the 706 this would probably be the goose neck). This is the way my Studio 1 is wired. I actually sent my 705 to TT and had a Heil cord wired up like the 2-5 drawing and that got rid of the RF. That was about a year ago so don't know if the 706's are wired this way now or not. But I would check the wiring on the 706 to be sure.
