You know, I never really thought abt the TXCO until I got the Argo V. Prior to that, whenever I did psk, I kept having trouble staying on signal (slight drift). I kept thinking why isn't the software "tracking" it? The error rate was high too (sometimes). Since I got the Argo, wow, what a difference a circuit makes! And thanks Martin for answering John's Q.
