My own opinion FWIW: Viewing Orion's screen set for black characters on a white background places maximum demand on the stability of screen contrast and brightness. More importantly in my view, it also makes long term viewing of the screen uncomfortable. Viewing the screen in reverse mode with white letters on a black background is much less harsh to view and subsantially avoids the noticeable effects of contrast/brightness changes due to temperature. YMMV. Bob, 5B4AGN _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
