In a California courtroom today the Jupiter filed an injunction for support
from its parents Ten Tec for continued support. Lawyers seen rubbing their
hands together furtively saw this opportunity to hold both parties feet to
the fire claiming family values and corporate responsibility as defining
issues in the case. The media was in attendance when both sides filed
smelling a story meant to be both dramatic and titillating but walked the
other way when it was discovered that it was a ham radio thang. They had
apparently been burned before by non issue stories related with ham radio
and were reminded of those still hurting wounds. One media mogul was quoted
as saying 'Those hams yell the sky is falling way more often than Britney
Spears changes her socks', explaining why traction is iffy on these stories.
