Actually, if you listen closely, you can hear the Orion relay clicking
in synch with the code elements. At least, I hear it.

looked to see how they were keying the amp, however the clicking is
certainly there. Wonder if it's coming through the speaker/phones? Guess I

Well, I haven't opened it up to check and I didn't look in the
schematic however, I don't believe what I hear is the QSK relay...
That relay is silent...
Itclicks on the trailing edge of every element, independent of speed,
etc. As Sinisa said, amp keying is done with transistor switches.
This is a reed relay that is part of the internal keying/QSK circuitry.
If you don't hear the relay, you have the only "silent" Orion ... :-)
