The advantage of the Jupiter is the ability to control it by
software (e.g., N4PY), and its flexible DSP filters.
The advantage of the Omni VI is its ultimate ability to pull in
weak signals under adverse conditions better than the Jupiter.
If you are a die-hard contester or DX-er, you will probably
choose the Omni VI.
Otherwise you will probably be happier with the Jupiter.
