I'm using a serial / USB adapter from Sewell Development
(www.sewelldev.com). A good, inexpensive adapter that works well for
me (although I'm not running an Orion).

Hello,
as I'll own an ORION soon, I have to think about integrating it into
my shack..
Well... and that's the problem: as many others, my PC has only one
serial port, which is already in use for PR. My idea is to use one
of those COM/USB adapters. Did anybody already tried this out, did
it will work well with the updates, and with ORION control software ?
The PC is running Microsoft Windows XPhome.
