[TenTec] Cleaning/lubricating 253 Tuner Inductor

I see that a bulb has burned out in my 253 automatic antenna coupler.  Since
I'm taking it out of the rack I thought I'd clean and lubricate the inductor
and roller.

Has anyone tried this?  Is there a readily available lubricant that should
be used?  Or should I just leave it alone?
