Only 2 pins used (top and bottom) if using a non Ten Tec PS.
The detachable plug "pins" are of the female gender. Advise getting
as much wire contact with pin as possible before soldering down the wire,
as there is not much metal at the top of the hole to carry the full key
down amps.
