its 3100 volts at 230 + line volts, i would suspect that you have a lower
line voltage, if you think that 2900 is low, i took mine down to st. martien
again this year for c.q.w.w. 99 phone, the line voltage at the villa was
205, that's comes out to about 2400 v. on the plates !! lucky to get 900
watts out during the day, in the evening when all the natives would turn the
t.v.'s on, and i was at the end of the line, it would drop to aroung 2100 v.
but still had lots of fun1
Ken K7zum........soon to be FS/K7ZUM again, and that will be of course
with the omni 6 + and the centurion amp again

>Hello Everyone,
> I have a Centurion and the plate voltage is about 2900 volts. Specs

> Too, I got to hear 2 Pegasus' on the SSB net Sunday, both were S7-S9,
>(heard Pegs before but weak signals) and the audio was super. The clarity
>was superb, beautiful reproduction of what sounded to be normal voices.
>No doubt, there is a lot of potential for "filling the envelope" but as
>is, TT has a winner, at least in the audio department.
