[TenTec] Is my Scout sick?

To solve some erratic operation with my scout I did the following:

Place in each power lead, as close to the scout as you can a "snap on" ferrite
core. These are available from Radio Shack. You wind 3 or 4 turns of the leads
around the core and then snap it shut. You need one in each lead. It solved the
problems mentioned.
