[TenTec] Quick question about TT transverters...

I have a question that I'm sure many of you can answer for me.

To use a Ten-Tec 1210A or 1208A transverter with an Omni V, is it necessary
to have an FM board in the Omni V? Assuming of course that I want to use FM
on the corresponding VHF band.
