Lots of things. They listened to all the comments from Paragon owners and
did a major redo of an already good rig. Some improvements I've noticed are:
1. Sidetone quaility much cleaner
2. QSK perfected. No more clicks or mushy sounds in fast mode.
3. Memory doen't require frequent battery replacement.
4. No more sloppy feeling main tuning knob.
5. AM transmitt added.
6. Better computer interface.
7. Pll boards constructed better.
I'm sure there's a lot of other things I missed. Expect to pay about $800
more for a used Paragon 2. They are hard to find. I'm keeping mine!
