Hi Randy --
Glad you got what you wanted. Always feel it is a mistake to buy a used
one, for you never know what you are getting and there is little way to test
them for proper performance. Buying new you get a warranty, too.
Don't know if you have done it, but in the Argosy rigs replacing the stock
4-pole SSB filter makes a big difference on CW (or did in my cases, I have
two Argosy rigs). Use the model 220, an 8-pole SSB filter, in place of the
one that comes in the rig. Then it sounds like the Triton and Omni-A, B, or
C.
