I have worked into the USA from here on 40 CW with around 4 watts
from a single 6V6 tube. I worked all continents from GC3JAG/P with
that power. I still have the tube and the crystals, but not the rig.
Bet Steve and I could make a two-way on 7035, but I'll have to use
the OMNI-V, because I do not have a 7035 rock .....
P.S. I should have added that I used a 40m groundplane antenna, but I
reckon my dipole would do just as well.
