Hope the mid-point of the 98-99 Christmas-New Year holiday season is
finding everyone well. My mention of Straight Key Night (SKN) some time
ago seems to have produced some modest interest in straight keys. For
those of you with that interest, you will find some delightful browsing at
the Milestone Technologies website at
http://www.mtechnologies.com/hk.htm#bk100.
This site features the Hi-Mound line of straight keys and paddles (lots of
nice pix). But be careful--they ain't cheap. In addition to straight
keys, the site features a bug called the BK-100 Semi-auto Key for $119.95
that looks suspiciously like the old Lafeyette bug I bought back in the
60's for $9.95. Still--I think I'd like to have one.
I'd be curious to know if anyone has one of the Hi-Mound straight keys and
what the response is to it. 73,
