Looks like everyone emailing me privately is homing in on pretty much the same answer. I should fill the socket with the chip called for, and not expect serial port B to work until I do. Even had a chips-for-beer offer. I must consult with Oliver North on that one. Sounds suspicious. Looks like it's handled until I try it and it doesn't work...thanks everyone. Mark, N5OT |
