Quick question. I have an old card which does "2 serial ports." There is a big empty socket on it. Does this mean that to use serial port #2 I have to buy/scrounge a chip? The instructions have a chip number in parenthesis in that spot on the board but nothing to the effect of "this board really only does one serial port out of the box; if you want to use 2 you have to get the missing chip?"
