All this may be true, but it would be nice to be able to harness the power
of a machine that would not be call stone age by any other standard.
It is nice to buy the cheap old computers and make then run TR. I do it all
the time for our field day setups. That way if they are stolen or dies, who
gives a rats @#$%. But at my home and other places, space is a premeium, and
having more computers than I actually need is nothing more than a pain in
the rear. It would be nice to use my windows machine, harness all the nice
things and connectivity, and my contest program......all at the same time.
I do run TR in a dos window without much problem, but I dont useally do CW
contest either. They where at one time talking about porting TR into
Logwindows, but not many where in favor to that. Unfortunaly this had more
to do with the RC factor (RC=Resistance to change)than anything else I
beleive. Without a doubt TR is an excelent program and hopfuly it will grow
into a window enviroment.
