Not only did I need a null modem, but I also had to set the baud rate in =
the TR config file....
radio one baud rate =3D 1200 (or 4800, or whatever)
then make sure the radio baud rate conforms, by using the rig's setup =
menu...
I've like mine -- it's been a good rig, despite the major shortcomings =
(no vox, no full break-in cw). Even the FT817 which sells for half the =
cost of an 847 has a vox!
