This Week's Contests:

1.  CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests.  Three separate one-hour min-tests every 
Wednesday local date.  1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC date).  160-10M 
CW.  Exchange:  Name + CWOps # or SPC.  Look between 026 and 040 on 
every band.

2.  NCCC RTTY Practice.  0145-0215Z Friday (Thurs night local).  100W 
maximum power.  one/one kHz QSY rule. Exchange:  both calls, #, name, 
SPC.  Look around 080 kHz on each  band and up from 1805 kHz.  15, 20, 
40, 80, 160M RTTY.  Same band dupes OK after one intervening QSO.

3.  NCCC NS Ladder CW Practice.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thurs night local). 
  100W maximum power.  one/one kHz QSY rule.  Exchange:  both calls, #, 
name, SPC.  Look around 040 kHz and up from 1815 kHz.  No same band 
dupes permitted.

4.  QRP Fox Hunt 80M.  0200-0330Z Friday (Thurs night local).  Two QRP 
Foxes will be hiding between 3550 and 3570 kHz.  Work only the two 
foxes.  5W maximum power.  Do not spot the foxes' frequencies.  Foxes 
will be K4BAI, JOHN, GA and K9CW, DREW, IL.

5.  YL-OM Contest. 1400Z Friday to 0200Z Sunday.  All bands.  CW/Dig, 
SSB.  24 hours maximum time.  Exchange:  QSO # + ARRL section, VE 
province, or country.  CW and SSB are separte contests and separate logs 
are required.  YL work only OM.  OM work only YL.

6.  Triathelon DX Contest.  0000-0759Z Sat (CW).  0800-1559Z Sat (SSB); 
  1600-2359Z Sat (RTTY).  80-10M.  Exchange:  RS(T) + serial #.

7.  Vermont QSO Party.  48 hours of Sat/Sun UTC.  160M-UHF, all modes. 
Exchange:  RS(T) + S/P or VT County.

8.  10-10 International Winter Contest, SSB.  48 hours of Sat/Sun UTC. 
10M Phone.  Exchange:  Name + 10-10# (or "0"_ + SPC.

9.  F9AA Cup, CW.  1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sun.  80-10M + 2M CW.  Exchange: 
RST + serial # + License Type + country or French department.  Bonus 
points for QSO with F8URC.

10.  Black Sea Cup International Cup.  1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sun.  160-10M 
CW, SSB.  Exchanges:  For HQ stations:  RS(T) + club name or 
abbreviation.  BSCC members:  RS(T) + "BS" + BSCC#.  Others:  RS(T) + 
ITU Zone #.  Work everyone.

11.  FYBO Winter QRP Sprint.  1400-2400Z Sat.  160-10M CW, SSB, Dig.  5w 
maximum power.  Exchange:  RS(T) + SPC + power output + temperature (F). 
  Bonus points for QSOs with NQ7RP.

12.  First Class Operators (FOC) Club Marathon.  This is a closed 
contest, open only to FOC members.  I mention this so you will know what 
is going on when you hear "CQ FOC."  2100Z Fri to 2100Z Sun.  160-10M 
CW. Exchange:  RST + FOC#.

13.  British Columbia QSO Party.  160-10M CW, SSB, Dig.  Exchange: 
Rs(T0 + BC District or S/P/DX.

14.  FISTS Club Winter Slow Speed Sprint.  1700-2100Z Saturday.  80-10M 
CW.  Maximu power 100W.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Name +FISTS# or power. 
Maximum speed:  13 WPM.

15.  Minnesota QSO Party.  1400-2400Z Saturday.  160-10M CW/RTTY/PSK, 
Phone, (SSB, FM).  Exchange:  Name + MN county or S/P.

16.  Mexico RTTY International Contest.  1800Z Sat to 1759Z Sun.  80-10M 
RTTY.  Exchange:  RST + XE State or serial #.  Work everyone.

17.  NCJ North American QSO Party, CW.  0000-0400Z Sunday (Saturday 
night local date).  20, 40, 80M CW.  Exchange:  both calls, #, name, 
SPC.  one/five kHz QSY rule.  There is a team competition.  Teams must 
be preregistered.  Contact me to be on a Southeast Sprint Coalition

18.  QRP Fox Hunt Tuesday 40M.  0100-0230Z Wed (Tues night local date). 
  Foxes are scheduled to be NK6A, DON, CA and WX2S, STEVE, NJ. 
Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, Power.  Maximum power 5W. Do not spot the 
foxes' frequencies.  Work only the two foxes.

19.  North American QRP CW Club February Sprint.  0130-0330Z Wed 
(Tuesday night local date).  20, 40, 80M CW.  5W maximum power. 
Exchange:  RST + SPC + NAQCC# or power.  Double your score for use of a 
hand key.  1 1/2 times your score for use of a bug.

20.  Phone Fray.  Every Tuesday local date, 0230-0330Z Wednesday.  15, 
20, 40, 80, 160M SSB.  100W maximum power.  Exchange:  Name + SPC.  No 
QSY rule.  Mults count per band.
