This Week's Contests:

1.  QRP Fox Hunt 80M.  0200-0330Z Friday (Thursday night local).  Two
foxes will be hiding between 3550 and 3570 kHz.  5W maximum power.
Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, Power.  Work only the two foxes (AA4GA, LEE,
GA and N0UR, JIM, MN).

2.  NCCC NS CW Ladder.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local).  20,
40, 80, 160M.  100W maximum power.  One kHz QSY rule.  Exchange: both
calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 1815 kHz and 40 kHz up.

3.  CQ World Wide 160M Contest, SSB.  22Z Fri to 22Z Sun.  30 hours
maximum for single ops.  160M SSB.  Exchange:  RS + S/P or CQ Zone for
stations outside US and VE.

4.  REF (France) Contest, SSB.  0600Z Sat to 1800Z Sun.  80-10M SSB.
Single ops limited to 28 hours.  Exchange:  RS + Serial #.  F and French
possession stations send RST + French Department # or possession
abbreviation, such as FG, FH, FJ, etc.  Work only F and possession stns.

5.  UBA (Belgium) DX Contest, CW.  1300Z Sat to 1300Z Sun.  80-10M CW.
Exchange:  RST + Serial # (+ Belgian province abbreviation).  Work everyone.

6.  NCJ North Amerian QSO Party, RTTY.  1800Z Sat to 0600Z Sun. Single
ops limited to 10 hours with minimum of 30 minutes off time.  80-10M
RTTY.  100W maximum power.  Team competition.  I will register a SECC
team or teams by late Friday or early Saturday.  Let me know if you'd
like to join WB2RHM and W4UK on a team for this contest.  You do not
have to be within any circle or even be a member of SECC.

7.  High Speed Club (HSC) Contest.  Sunday.  0900-1100Z and 1500-1700Z.
   80-10M CW.  Exchange:  RST + HSC# or "NM" for non member.

8.  South African Radio League Digital Contest.  1300-1600Z Sun.  80-10M
PSK, RTTY.  Exchange:  RST + QSO#.  Work only South African Stations.

9.  North Carolina QSO Party.  15Z Sun until 0059Z Mon.  80-2M CW, Ph,
Dig.  Exchange:  NC County or SPC.  Bonus points for Hyde and/or
Transylvania Counties and for W4DW and/or NI4BK.  100W maximum power for
all participants.

10.  Colorado QRP Club Winter QSO Sprint.  0100-0259Z Mon (Sunday night
local).  5W maximum power.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Name + CQC# or power.
   Bonus for one QSO with W0CQC or N0CQC.

11.  Tuesday Night QRP Fox Hunt.  40M.  7030-7050 kHz.  Same rules as
for Thursday night on 80M, but the foxes will be:  K9CW, DREW, IL and
KX9X, SEAN, CT.

12.  CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests.  Wednesday local date.  Three separate
one -hour contests.  13Z, 19Z, 03Z (Thursday UTC).  160-10M CW.
Exchange:  Name + CWOps# or SPC.  Look around 028-038 kHz.

13.  Straight Key Century Club Week Day Sprint (SKS).  00-02Z Thursday
(Wed night local).  Use mechanical key.  160-10M CW. Exchange:  RST +
Name + SPC + SKCC# or "none."

Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend.  I do not have coax to my
beam at this time and ARRL DX SSB won't be much fun without a beam.  If
anyone has a station with a beam(s)that could use a guest operator or
operators for March 1 and 2, K4BAI and/or KU8E could be available to be
your guest(s).
